Decadent strawberry banana smoothie

Decadent strawberry banana smoothie
Sweet, soft and creamy ....! This healthy banana and strawberry smoothie can be prepared in 1 minute and contains 3 basic ingredients, to be spiced up as you wish!
At home, we love this strawberry banana smoothie as a snack as well as for breakfast.

A strawberry and banana smoothie is good for you because strawberries are high in fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants. They are among the 20 fruits richest in antioxidants. A serving of strawberries (about 8 berries) contains more vitamin C than an orange.

Bananas are a good source of fiber, potassium, and magnesium. Your body digests the sugar in a banana more slowly than refined sugars, so you get long-lasting energy, rather than a sugar craze and intense energy drop. Bananas, naturally sweet, are a healthy way to satisfy your sugar craving. When you're in the mood for a sweet frozen treat, this banana strawberry smoothie is a delicious option!

Try to buy organic fruit, if possible. Non-organic fruits are often tested for at least one pesticide ... and often for more than 5!

Are you ready to make your best strawberry banana smoothie? Follow the recipe at the bottom of the article!

Making this banana and strawberry smoothie is as easy as placing all the ingredients in your blender and blending until the mixture is smooth. You'll want to start with frozen strawberries (preferably organic). Strawberries should be frozen to create a thick, cold smoothie.

You want to use a ripe banana for this smoothie, as the ripe banana will add sweetness. Bananas are often used in smoothies because they help thicken your smoothie and give it a creamy texture. You can use a fresh or frozen banana. I usually use fresh in this banana strawberry smoothie. A fresh banana will produce a thick, creamy smoothie. The frozen banana will make your smoothie even thicker.
